Jesus Caballero is the CEO of SOF Connect, the operator of Sofia Airport. He is a top professional with vast experience in all areas of aviation from aircraft maintenance to coordination of airport operations, terminal and transportation management and many other aspects in the field. Before taking over the management of SOF Connect, Mr. Caballero was the CEO of Seville and Melilla airports, and was also involved in the management of Madrid, Barcelona, and Malaga airports. He holds the record for the youngest CEO of an airport in Spain. The ambitious goal set by Jesus Caballero is to transform the capital's airport into a modern and sustainable five-star regional airport, with a balance between decarbonization goals and business growth. Mr. Caballero is active in the field of sustainable development of the aviation industry as a member of the European Airports Association ACI EUROPE. Jesus Caballero is an aeronautical engineer specializing in airports, air navigation systems and air traffic management. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the Chamber of Business, Commerce and Industry of Spain and completed the Executive Development Program at the IESE Business School from the University of Navarre.
