Zvezdelin Stoyanov

Zvezdelin Stoyanov is Head of Data Science at MFG, where he leads the development of AI and machine learning solutions across lending, credit card, and financial services businesses. His work spans credit risk modeling, fraud detection, debt collection optimization, customer retention, and portfolio monitoring, transforming large-scale data into actionable business decisions. Prior to MFG, Zvezdelin worked as a Data Scientist, developing machine learning and computer vision solutions for telecommunications operations and network optimization. He also serves as a PhD Researcher at the Institute of Robotics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, focusing on completely autonomous AI-driven navigation for unmanned aerial vehicles. Zvezdelin holds an MSc in Applied Data Science from Utrecht University and a BSc in Economics, Management and Computer Science from Università Bocconi. His interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, financial technology, and autonomous systems.
