Hristo Todorov

Hristo Todorov is the founder of DiscreteStack, a company building European AI based on open technologies, enterprise control, and cost predictability. DiscreteStack gives organizations powerful AI under their own control, including a fully isolated deployment on a single server — a “dark factory” setup with no internet dependency — while keeping intelligence comparable to frontier providers. Hristo studied at the Vocational School of Computer Technology in Pravetz and went on to build a career in software engineering and technical leadership across telecom, fintech, and aviation. Since 2015, his entrepreneurial path has included international recognition, with the company he co-founded named among the Top 40 developer agencies in the world by Google in 2017; a successful exit with Upnetix in 2018; and the co-founding of CleverPine, which later entered a joint venture with Lufthansa Technik in 2023. That partnership created VAeroLabs, backed by Lufthansa Technik's commitment to invest €50 million in Bulgaria over the following years. In 2025, Hristo started DiscreteStack to build European AI as an alternative to the major American providers. For him, European AI means transparency, control, sovereignty, and predictability — not an American product hosted on a server in Frankfurt.
